Having established themselves as leaders in real estate sales in the mid north region, the father and son team of Geoff and Daniel Schell , together with their wives Karen and Bec, have embarked on a new venture by purchasing the Ray White real estate franchise in Clare and Ardrossan.
Between them, Geoff and Daniel have 12 years of outstanding sales success and experience within the Ray White Group. Mr Geoff Schell said that they were excited and enthusiastic about the opportunity to purchase the sales business from Julie Gabe, who will continue to operate the property management component and also focus on residential sales.
“Our family have had a long connection with the Clare Valley region dating back over 60 years. Today, there are four generations residing in the community,” said Daniel.
“We are so fortunate to have a really talented and energetic team of people at Clare and Ardrossan. Daniel and I are keen to support each of them to be the best that they want to be,” said Geoff.
“Dad and I really enjoy working together,” Daniel added.
“We are so fortunate that things have worked out this way for us and we now have an exciting real estate business venture with the Ray White Group. Not many father and son combinations can get on so well in business,” he went on to say.
“Over the last three years we have found that we have the same desire to succeed and a very strong determination to be the best we can. Our goal is to provide the best service possible to each of our vendors and we feel great satisfaction when we can assist them to reach a positive sales result,” said Daniel.
Mr Nick George, Managing Director of Ray White SA & NT, said: “the announcement of the Schell family taking ownership of the Clare Valley franchise has been exciting news for the Ray White Group. Our company is the largest real estate group in South Australia and we have seen our regional business grow to the strength of having the largest market share of property sales.
“Geoff and Daniel have excelled in developing the biggest share of regional and rural property for our group and they represent for us the family values enshrined in Ray White. Our company is now over 110 years old and had its origins in rural Queensland, so it’s with great pleasure we announce this important leadership transition at Clare,”
The Ray White Clare Valley sales team, Geoff and Daniel together with Julie Gabe and Mark O’Meagher are very well supported by talented personal assistants in Carly Marshall, Bree Christie and Rose Salter with Cheryl Barlow as receptionist and Sue Koch in Accounts. Well-known local identity, Kelly Leach services the wider Balaklava area. At the Ardrossan office, Scott Bockmann is achieving outstanding sales results in the region and is supported by Karen Benyo.
This festive season, the Ray White Clare Valley team in conjunction with the Clare Rotary club are supporting “A Little Ray of Giving” which encourages community members to donate a gift for Christmas to less fortunate families in the local community.
“All you need to do is purchase and wrap a gift for a child, then pop the gift under the tree in the Ray White office in Clare. Members from Clare Rotary Club will then deliver your gift to a local family who will appreciate the lift to their festive season,” Geoff explains.
Call in to see Geoff and Dan and the friendly Ray White team, they are always keen for a chat.
